The Most Effective Way To Apologize

We have all experienced a situation in which we have to apologize to another person, we are all human beings and we all make mistakes, but the other person cannot accept that apology, and this article contains scientific information that you can use to make your apology sincere and responsive.

The experiment was conducted on 333 adults. Each of them read the text of the apology, which contains one, three or six factors of an effective apology, and measured the extent of its effectiveness and acceptance by others affected by the apology. They were informed about the study and the number of factors available in the article that was read.

Second experiment:

It was conducted with 422 university students who read the apology, which contained a set of factors, and they were asked to evaluate them according to the experiment, but in this experiment, the students tested were not informed of the number of factors contained in the letter.

In both experiments, the researchers and academics agreed with each other that the more the apology and the method of presentation contain the greatest possible number of factors affecting the apology, which we mentioned earlier, the more acceptable the apology is to people and the more effective it is.

But we need to differentiate between the true position of the apology and simply reading the apology from an article that is dictated to you. Loic, the director of the study, says that genuine feelings, body language and facial expressions are also among the most important factors that affect, without which the apology may have no value because the person receiving the apology will not feel the credibility of what you are doing unless they see those words on your face.
